The Evenflo Elite Nurser

The Evenflo Elite nurser is exceedingly recommended by several practicioners including the instructors of our recent "Pregnancy" group, natal and breast feed class. New mothers who came to the birth group on alumni day also recommended it. So when it was time for us to buy our first bottle, I gave the Evenflo Elite real serious thought. Of course I always have to do price comparisons, so for awhile, every one store I went into I would always look at all the bottles and check prices. There seemed to be so many options! I was glad to see that the Evenflo Elite Nurser appeared reasonable in price, so I bought two of the 5 ounces size. I found mine at Safeway. I was to note that many stores that sell other Evenflo nursers do not the Elite - I expect I know why?
The clear bottle has a unique sort of bent-hourglass form (they named it a "pediatric angled bottle") that makes the Evenflo Elite easy to hold on to while baby is feeding, and will keep air out of baby's tummy. It is graduated in ounces and ml on the sides so you know how much you are feeding. The blue synthetic ring holds the unusual "sensitive response" nipple tightly to the bottle. Besides the bottle , it's the teat that causes the Evenflo Elite nurser special. It is formed far more than any other you can buy and is designed to promote latch-on and a good mouth sealing like you get when feeding from mom. It also has air vents to generate an even flow of milk and help prevent the tit from imploding.
The Evenflo Elite comes in three basic versions - slow, medium and fast flow. Right now we are doing the slow flow type for our , which seems to be just right. We initiated the nurser to our baby at 3 weeks. We have had great initial accomplishment with breastfeeding and required to be sure including the bottle would not any problems. We the Evenflo Elite nurser has been a key ingredient in our continued triumph.
