Evenflo Elite Nurser Info No.9

We have had great initial accomplishment with breast feeding and wanted to be sure including the bottle would not create any problems.  We think the Evenflo Elite nurser has been a key element in our sustained success..
 I was astounded to note that many stores that sell other Evenflo nursers do not supply the Elite - I wonder why?  The blue synthetic ring holds the unusual "sensitive response" tit securely to the bottle. 
 There appeared to be so many options!  I found mine at Safeway. 

Naturally I always have to do price comparisons, so for for a moment, every store I went into I would always look at all the different and check costs. 

Besides the bottle form, it's the teat that makes the Evenflo Elite nurser special.  It is designed far more naturally than any other you can buy and is designed to advance proper latch-on and a good mouth sealing like you get when breastfeeding. 

The strong plastic bottle has a unique sort of bent-hourglass shape (they named it a "pediatric angled bottle") that causes the Evenflo Elite easy to hold on to while baby is eating, and keeps air out of baby's belly.  I was glad to see that the Evenflo Elite Nurser seemed reasonable in price, so I purchased two of the 5 ounces size.  It also has special air vents to generate an even flow of milk and help keep the nipple from collapsing. 

We introduced the nurser to our baby at 3 weeks.  New mothers who came to the natal group on alumni day also recommended it.  Right now we are using the slow flow type for our newly born, which appears to be just perfect.  The Evenflo Elite comes in three versions - slow, medium and fast flow.  It is marked in ounces and ml on the sides so you know how much you are dispensing.  So when it was time for us to buy our first bottle, I gave the Evenflo Elite real serious consideration.  The Evenflo Elite nurser is extremely recommended by several practicioners including the instructors of our recent "Pregnancy" class, birth group and breast feeding class.
